Mesotherapy

At the ANACOSMA clinic, mesotherapy is performed using ready-to-use products.
Our doctors do not use the “mixing method” — when a doctor prepares a custom “cocktail” depending on the treatment goal — because this can lead to:

1. Violation of antiseptic rules

2. Risk of expired ingredients

3. Increased chance of an allergic reaction to the cocktail or one of its components

For this reason, meso-cocktails must always be ready-made — in a mono-vial.

Treatment areas include under-eye fat deposits (eye bags), fat on the cheeks (jawline), submental fat (double chin), fat on the abdomen, arms, bra area, and cellulite [3].

For hair treatment, the best results to date have been shown by the ASCE+ HRLV exosome-based product from ExoCoBio (South Korea).
In just 5 procedures, exosomes improve hair growth, reduce scalp irritation, and decrease sebum production.

Before the procedure, the patient must undergo a consultation and examination to select the most effective product. At this stage, the doctor may additionally recommend other treatments, since one course of mesotherapy may not be enough to achieve a visible, satisfactory result.

Next, the doctor carefully cleanses the skin of the face (or the body area where the procedure will be performed). This step is especially important because facial mesotherapy involves injecting cocktails under the skin through tiny punctures. Since the skin’s integrity is breached, swelling and bruising may occur, and it’s crucial to prevent infection.

Mesococktail therapy is a minimally invasive procedure and does not require a long recovery period. You can return to your daily routine immediately after the treatment. The doctor may recommend applying a special product in the evening after the procedure. Remember, after any injection procedure, it’s important to minimize sun exposure, especially without applying SPF protection.

Possible side effects:

• Bruising and redness — a natural reaction of the epidermis to the punctures and product injection.

• Infections — very rare, and virtually impossible when the procedure is done in a reputable clinic by an experienced specialist. However, it’s important to maintain proper hygiene during the first 24 hours: avoid touching or rubbing your face.

• In rare cases, mesotherapy may aggravate certain health conditions, which is why it is not recommended for patients with gallstones, oncological diseases, blood clotting disorders, and other contraindications.
