About ligature lifting
Thread lifting is an alternative method of facial correction when mesotherapy, biorevitalization, and other gentle rejuvenation techniques no longer work, and you’re not ready to consider a full surgical facelift.
What is ligature lifting?
Ligature lifting is a type of facelift performed by inserting one or two special ligature threads. These threads are known for their long-lasting results. Absorbable threads typically last for 2–3 years, while non-absorbable ones can last for 5 years or more. Unlike mesothreads, ligature threads do not create visible contours under the skin. Non-absorbable threads

In cases of secondary ligature lifting performed by the same surgeon, the previously inserted threads can be adjusted without the need for new implantation.

When are threads no longer effective, making plastic surgery a better option?
A thread lift is primarily intended to address early or moderate age-related changes. In cases of significant tissue sagging, pronounced jowls, excess skin, deep folds, or noticeable changes in the neck area, threads will not provide results comparable to plastic surgery. In such cases, the surgeon may recommend a facelift or another correction method. The most suitable option is determined individually during a consultation.
